    Bucket of bricks
    PLEASE HELP ME!
    Years ago I heard this hilarious irish "song" about a couple of builders trying to get this bucket of bricks up a building.
    That was the one & only time I have ever heard it, and I would love to find out the title & artist, so can anyone please help me??

    The mythbusters (Discover Channel guys) did a segment on this sad tale of the barrel of bricks. They decided it could have occurred but not too likely.
    They had a lady who was a folklore expert on, and she said the story first appeared in a joke book in 1918. She doesn't think it ever happened for real, but we will never know.
    Thanks for making me aware of the song. I had only ever heard the story when it was reported as an actual workmens compensation case. I've had fun telling that story to a lot of people.
