    Quantum??
    Hiya all.
    QUANTUM Desktop PC
    80 Gb Hard Drive.
    2.4 Ghz Intel Celeron Processor
    56 Kbs Internal Modem
    DVD, CD-RW Multimedia
256 Mb DDR RAM, 17 inch Monitor
    Keyboard, Mouse, Jazz Speaker set
Preloaded Windows XP Home with back up disc.
    £200 or very nearest offer

I am thinking of buying this computer. Worried about the "Quantum" aspect. Can anyone enlighten me please. I am not into gaming or videos so capacity is OK, have an external hard drive anyway. Thanks DavidB.

It's probably just a local brand name, I wouldn't worry about that.

Thanks for getting back sir. Now, without committing yourself, do YOU think it's worth it? Thank you DavidB.

Sure, looks OK. Check for network card if you will have high-speed internet. Double the ram would help performance.

Thank you sir for your response, she uses the same broadband (cable) ISP as me so OK there. Sort the RAM out later if needed. Thanks. DavidB.

Quantum computers [ 2 Answers ]

What exactly is a 'quantum computer'? I have been hearing about them and was wondering how they differ from a regular computer. I know that it's much more advanced and sophisticated.
