In the touring von Thyssen exhibition of the early 1980's was a van Gogh beach scene, predominantly in yellows and oranges, with dinghys/small boats to the right of the frame and a wharf/pier extending to roughly the centre of the picture. There may have been a sunrise or sunset. It was about the size of an A4 piece of paper. I have never been able to find a picture of this painting and can't remember the name of it... can anyone out there enlighten me?

    Try searching through this website:

    http://www.vangoghgallery.com/

It has pictures of all Van Gogh's works.

    Hope that helps!
