    Putting a price on business
I am trying to negotiate a price on a carpet cleaning business. I can easily put a price on the equipment that is included, but how do I put a price on the customers and contracts that also come with it?

    Thanks

in carpet cleaning, seldom are customers a lot of repeat business on a monthly basis, if you do have contracts, their value is only that of the remaining accounts payable that comes with them, and then even assume on losing some. Also is it a franshise or not. Also why are they selling, that may have an effect on price.

In the end, this is all negotiation, how much differnece is there between their asking price and the value of the equpment
