    Using trademarks
    Hello everybody,
This is "stayupright" from Germany and I have a question. We manufacture a unique cell phone charger and I will introduce the product this January at the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas. On our display I want to use brand names like Nokia and Motorola. May I do so? Do I have to place the R of registered next to the name.
Thank you for your help, and

I think you have to get their permission first before you use the names, otherwise it will look like they are backing your product which wouldn't be necessarily true.

You definitely must get permission and this is normally done via the head office marketing division. You definitely must use their trademark symbols. There are new laws in the EU that protect brand names - not sure about the US but I would not chance it. Good luck!
