Ok, Things that have been changed out with new parts, the Main Relay, The complete Distributor. Fuel pump and all of the Fuses Grounds and wireing has been checked. I am getting a trouble code 15 indicitave of a no signal from Distributor. All of the wiring seems fine, have any of you run into this before. No spark at this time. Yes the Distributor is getting it's power. This is a reall odd one for me because 9 times of 10 it is the main relay or the ignitor is shot. The thing will start and run for maby a minute tops before well it stops and won't restart. Is there anything inbetwene the signal wire from the Dist to the ECU perhaps that I am overlooking?

When your car won't start - do like this:

Disconnect the 2P connector from the distributor.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure voltage between BLK/YEL terminal and body ground.
If there is no voltage -> repair an open in the BLK/YEL wire between the 2P connector and ignition switch.
If there is voltage, then a problem might be a bad igniter unit, or a faulty ignition switch.

When replacing the distributor, did you make sure your igniter unit was still working? Did you run the igniter unit check procedure? Ignition coil is OK? Fuses under the hood are all OK? Did you connect the wires on the igniter unit in correct order (don't laugh, I once made a mistake with wrongly connecting wires on the igniter and was pissed off for a week, because I couldn't find the reason for my car not starting)?

Try to check your wiring around the ignition switch.

We have power at the Yel/Blk wire. Yes it is a new ignitor and I tossed it in another Civic (the entire Dist, The Dist came with a new ignitor and coil IE a loaded Dist) Ran fine even went up to Smithville and back no sweat. I will check on the ignition switch latter today. Now here is the other thing I was wondering. Does the ECU control actuial ignition timeing, because then if that circuit on my ECU is bad it wouldent light up at all. (Ie ECU sees signal from the Dist goes OK wait -now- send voltage to the ignitor to fire off the coil<this would be normal operation>) Or (Ecu does not see signal and does not send voltage to the ignitor to fire off the coil) I will try and fetch a factory Honda diagram for that harness that goes from the ECU to the Dist. I am NOT going to buy a ECU to see if that is the case. Diagram first. Less you know someone in the greater Kansas City area that will let me borrow there ECU and see if it still throws a Code 15 at me. But I will check out the switch here in a bit.

Yes, the ECU does perform modifications to ignition timing. Basically, ECU can alter timing at any given RPM, based on how much you open your throttle.

Try and borrow an ECU from someone with the same ECU as you (if you can find someone). I have no idea who you could get it from, because I'm from across the sea.
