    The question is

    Suppose the sales of a company are given by

    S(x)m= $200x + $20,000 where x is measured in years and x = 0 corresponds to the year 1996

    Find the predicted sales in the year 2002 assuming the trend continues

    2002 - 1996 = 6

    S(6) = $200*6 + $20,000 = $21,200
