    Default judgment ruling
I had a default judgment filed against me for a vehicle that I totaled about two years ago and was repossessed, the value of the vehicle was roughly 11 thousand dollars and some change, do I have to worry about the plaintiff trying to take my truck that my parents bought for me to go from school and work as a result of this default judgment? How long before they take it, the judgment hearing was on oct 26 2007, I do not know the status of the hearing. I do own the truck that was bought for me and I also own a 35 year old vehicle as well, they are both in my name, would filing bankruptcy help? I live in southern California, any help would be greatly appreciated

If they obtained a judgement against you then they could attach any assets you own.
