    What does it mean when your poo is red?
    Its very disgusting but does it mean anything?


    Because, my friend was complaining he had Red pooop.

    Sounds like he has bloddy stool. He should go to the doctor.

    It could just be what that person ate... sometimes its kind of reddish when you eat tons of carrots.. :eek:

    It could be a number of things really. Beets can cause red stool, taking iron supplements can cause this also.

    If it is bright red blood it is usually internal or external hemorrhoids, if it is dark, then that is something that needs to be checked out.

    Maybe, I think I'm going to ask him about that. He said if it happens again he is going ot check it out but he is to hard heaed to check it now.

    It means internal bleeding. It doesn't need the hospital if it goes away after a day or two. If it stays for more then a week call a doctor just in case...
