    Brothers funeral expense
    I have two brothers.. neither are married now.. but do have children by prev marriage
    Niether brothers hhave any life insurance... my question is WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR FUNERAL EXPENSES... what if their children refuses to pay .will the law hold me responsible? I have no way of paying (or I wld be glad to). Thanks

    Their estates will be responsible. If no one claims the bodies or offers to pay, then they will be buried in unmarked graves in "potters field". Or possbily cremated.

Deductions on funeral [ 4 Answers ]

Please don't take this the wrong way, I don't want to sound money concerned. My father passed away, I paid for the majority of his funeral expences, is there any deductions for paying for a funeral. I have never heard of it, but just wondering.
