:confused: hi i have a problem, ive been with my fiance for almost 3 years, we are now 18 and out of high school and doing very good. we have never cheated on eachother, as far as i know, and we are best friends, im very happy with him, but last night while falling asleep in his arms, i had the most horrible dream... my fiance and i went somewhere togeather, and his ex girlfriend was there, im going to give you some info on her, see she dated him for about 3 months in middle school, and she was my best friend all through high school, our friendship ended when she told him i had cheated on him, he was so mad and embarrased that he wouldnt talk to me, and he actually started talking to her, this lasted less than a week, and he told her that he was in love with me and had to try and be with me, i eventually forgave him. that was 6 months ago, and we have been fine since. i dont trust this girl at all, i do trust him though, expecially since he had the chance to be with her, and wanted me. i dont know what to make of this dream, im so in love with him and am very paranoid that maybe this could possibly happen, he treats me good, and we are inseperable, so i dont know why im so insecure...why did i dream this?? :confused:

Hindsite is 20/20. This all sounds a bit off to me. Why are you best friends with his ex? Why are you still referring to her as his gfriend? Why do you trust him and not her? Isn't he just as much at fault? All it took for him to turn on you was a sentence about you from her? Why does he or did he put so much faith in what your girl friend said? And why would you want to date a girlfriends left overs? And how can you trust either one of them?
He had a chance to be with her and chose you? And then chose her again and then back to you again. This is a nasty little triangle and if you like your life played with like it's a game then you will stay involved with both.
If you value you and who you are and what you stand for you will drop them both for a real girlfriend and a better boyfriend. They are playing both ends against the middle. They are using your own energy against you! Peace ranieri

You are too, too worried and concerned that you will lose your fiancé.
Dreams are of the sub-conscience, and sometimes, not always, we dream of what is really bothering us. It doesn't mean these dreams will come true. It simply means that you are really, really afraid of losing him.
My suggestion is to take life just "one day at a time". Stop worrying about tomorrow. "Worry" only causes more worry, and isn't good for anyone.
If you act today with respect, kindness, and affection toward your fiancé, tomorrow will take care of itself.
There is always the chance your finance will change his mind toward you. As a statement of fact, over half of all marriages in the US end in divorce today. So just actually getting married doesn't really mean you will stay married, unless you both work at very hard.
Don't worry so much, and if you need help with your insecurity, please go see a Professional, or a marriage counselor, for some good conversations and learning.
