    Washer hot water line leaks
I just moved into a new to me house and I am having a problem with the hot water line to the washer! The hose screws on just fine to the faucet but when the water is turned on there is a small leak. I thought maybe the hose was not any good, bought another one, and still the same problem exists. Please help I'm getting low on clean clothes

The new hose did come with a rubber washer? Often the washing machine hoses have a screen in the center of the washer. Examine the faucet where the hose screws on. The end needs to be fairly smooth where the washer seals against it. There could even be part of an old washer stuck to it. The hose needs to be screwed on far enough to pull the washer tight against the faucet. If the end of the hose is free to wiggle, it isn't tight enough. You may need to clean the thread, or even just use a pair of pliers to tighten the hose tighter.
