    Birth certificate
    I put father unknown on my child's birth certificate for his medical bills.Now if I put his name on there before my child is a year old would I go to jail for lying?And would he have to pay the medical bills back?

    My sister had a child and put father unknown on hers because at the time they didn't get along, but when they finally later married and wanted to change it since she put unknown the only thing she had to do was fet a paternity test done to prove he was as if she really wasn't sure. But they didn't make her pay any back med bills. But this is in ala. Hope you week it out!
