I'm looking for some new books to read. What is it about? Should I add it to me "pick me up at the library" list?

I found it very intersting, but I made the mistake of starting it before the wedding as my "distraction" so I wasn't as dedicated as I should have been... in other words, I had to stop and go- which hurt my impression of it. Once I started again though, I couldn't put it down.

Its Russian lit from Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Its based around 3 brothers and their troublesome father's murder vs. their different takes on life. (I don't mean to spoil the plot, but you'll read that much on the back cover)

Its thought provoking for sure. My version was nearly 800 pages but I found myself wishing it continued. There is speculation that it was originally planned as a trilogy.

Personally, I know some people who would love it... but its not a "fun" book, its more like "work". :D
