    Driving w/out Power Steering
Due to a leak in the power steering cooler line on my '92 Honda Civic, I disconnected the PS pump until I can find replacement parts. Is it safe to drive the car w/out power steering? Will that put an undue strain on any steering components?

    Thanks.

It is more safe without the power steering than it is with it. Racers usually take it out so they can feeel the road more. And also when you take out the power steering, there is an increase in horsepowers. Not much bbut more than before.
