    Is fencing a good sport?
I sooo want to try this sport. Can anyone tell me how this goes?

Do I need to buy the gears while I'm still checking out the sport? Just want to try it out first

If oyu can find a team or coach near a local university you may not have to buy anything at all. Near me there is an olympic fencing coach who teaches and for beginners the equipment is provided. Once you get into it more and know you want to continue then you can begin to purches your own gear.
