    Painting a toy
My mother is trying to get a toy painted for her grandson (My nephew). She has used Krylon Kid High Gloss, painted it Monday, and the paint is still tacky.

Right now the toy is sitting on the kitchen table, which is a relatively dry room, and has been there since Monday. Is there anything she can do to help this thing dry out? Maybe a heat lamp or such?

Try placing the toy in the path of a fan.

If the paint had the more modern, lower photoreactive solvents and set around too long, it may never dry. I think your idea of heat is more likely to help than a fan. Perhaps outside in the sun under a tarp or box?

It was a big plastic dog that sat upright but it had soft ears (like terry cloth or something). You'd take it in the bath tub (or pool) and it had...

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me find out the name of this toy. All I know is that it is a 1996 Trendmasters Inc. toy. I have two of them. Here is what I remember... My older brother had this toy from the mid/late-1960s and it was a scary looking castle that you could drop a marble into the top and hear it drop inside the castle and come out of one of the four little doors at the bottom. It was pretty big too... maybe 1 1/2 ft...
