Some meaningful quotes in my life:

"...and then the day comes when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Anais Nin

"That is what learning is. You suddenly understand something you've understood all your life, but in a new way." Doris Lessing

"Not everything that counts can be counted and not everything that can be counted, counts." Albert Einstein

One of my favorites has always been:

    "Don't get mad, get even"

I know it is not the nicest, but who says we always have to be nice...

    Then there is:

"Give a hug to get a hug"

They are both short and to the point.

I don't have a favourite as such, but at different times different quotes have inspired me-
And most of the time it is not really quotes in the normal sense, but wise sayings...

"People should learn to use things and love people, instead of using people and loving things."Anonymous

"The truth is rarely pure and never simple." Oscar Wilde

"Its amazing how much you can hear when no one is saying anything."Elaine St. James

"And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is)." Quran 2:42

I like CaptainRich's choice, it is so true..

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. -- Proverbs 10:12

He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love. -- John 4:8

It err is human; to forgive, divine. -- Alexander Pope

Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

No cloud can overshadow a true Christian but his faith will discern a rainbow in it. -- Bishop Horne

There are so many different quotes, I do not have a favorite. I do enjoy quotes that have to do with peace, love, and true friends.
