    What foods?
Okay, so I just got these spacers in my mouth, because I am getting braces. The orthodonist said that they will hurt, and to eat softer foods. They are hurting really bad, and I can't eat anything cruchy or hard... any ideas of what I can eat?? :) :) :)

    Thanks

My sister had spacers as well. She ate stuff like mashed potatoes, sandwiches, eggs, etc. Anything that didn't require a whole lot of chewing.

One little suggestion. Even when you do feel better, try and stay away from sticky and chewy candies and gum, because they could pull the spacers out. They did that to my sister.

My grandson just turned 1 year old and he pretty much eats what we do.

We just cook what we like, put it in a blender (yup, that old fashioned kitchen helper) and press the button.

When I got my dental bridges (two at the same time), it hurt like &%&%, and I could not eat solid foods for a while - that blender came in handy there as well.

Good Luck, and think toward the future with straighter teeth!
