    Settle for myself
I recently was in a car accident with my 11 year old daughter with me. A young lady on a cell phone took a curve at 60 and my truck stopped her. I received whiplash, swelling and bruising to my leg, and have problems using my right hand and need to go to physical therapy. The pain and suffering specialist called me and I was wondering after we are both all better (my daughter is well on her way) if there is a way to figure out where I need top start negotiations. I am angry and upset over this whole thing. Now I am off work for a few weeks. This really stinks. Thanks anyone who can help

Your better off with an atty. To help you negotiate ANY settlements, unless you yourself are specialize in such. This protects your FUTURE interests also.

Most people think that atty.'s end up with more of the settlement than they do, but actually, on average- hiring an atty. Can net you 3x more than what you on your own could negotiate.

Just find one that your comfortable with- interview 3 or more before deciding! Good Luck!
