Birth control pills affect your hormones and can throw your period off balance. The pills can remain in your system for up to three months, so it may take this long for your period to be back on track, and you are able to get pregnant again.
It is still possible to get pregnant within this three months, but I don't want to get your hopes up. Your best chance of conceiving is after the pills are fully worn off.

Please also take into consideration that it takes healthy couples up to a year of actively trying to become pregnant. Coming off birth control can delay this even further as Nautical Star mentioned. It can be a few months before your cycle returns to normal. Good luck.

You can work out hun. No problem. Just don't overdo it, like a professional athlete or anything, because that also will make your period irregular :)
