Has anyone one tried Alli (the new FDA approved pill)? I know it has not been out long. Just curious on the results.

Where I live the paper ran a really unflattering story Alli. They said that on average it only helped people lose an additional 5-10 pounds over the course of a year and that the results were greatly exaggerated. Also there are apparently really nasty side effects if you eat too many grams of fat.

You'd probably have better luck taking the money you'd spend on Alli and joining something like Weight Watchers.

I am on alli myself and have had great results in 6 weeks I have lost 15 pounds. As for the side affects that only happens if you don't control your fat intake which is actually very lenient. They also offer online support journaling message boards and rewards for each week you weigh in online it's great.
