I know EXACTLY what you're talking about... in fact, it makes me feel better to know that someone else is going through it too! I just finished my first year of high school, and since the day I started, I felt like all my friends had moved on and left me behind for new ones. Actually, I nearly cried while waiting in line to get my books because I felt so, I don't know, almost lonely. But, eventually, I talked to them about how I felt. I told them that high school seemed to make them completely different people, and I wanted them to be their old selves again. To my surprise, they told me they thought I had changed too! We laughed about it, and now we're the best of friends again :) . I guess it was just because we were all nervous about the change of schools. I'm sure this happened to you for the same reason, and it's perfectly normal. Just try to relax and remember that everyone else is going through the same thing and felt the same way. It's especially hard for girls who are more in touch with their emotions, and take the changes a little bit harder than guys do. Some girls even try to hide their feelings of insecurity, so it may seem like you're the only one who feels this way, but trust me, I do too!
