There isn't much. If you are going to be using XP at home only, go with home.

The main difference is network support. XP Pro was designed more to be run on a business network.

    XP home or Pro
    Hi,
If using only at home on just one computer, then go with XP Home.
The Pro is used in business applications of connecting computers to a main computer or server.
    Best wishes,
    fredg
PS; Be SURE to check your computer's software and hardware (printers, scanners, etc) for compatibility with XP.

    Fred,
Have you ever had an original thought? Its really getting very tiresome seeing you repeat the advice others have already given. Also what makes you think mazzie is looking to install XP? All he asked was what the differences were!
Other users (both askers and volunteers) are noticing how you frequently echo previous answers. Its just losing you what little respect you might have had.
