I 'm trying to remember the title of a movie I watched about 6 or 7 years ago: It's about a girl who is in a very abusive relationship with her boyfriend but still stays in it despite her mother's objections.

One scene stands out very clearly in my mind: She goes to a strip club/restaurant with her boyfriend and then he asks her to get on the stage and strip, and when she tries to protest and asks why? He tells her that he likes when other men envy him for having things they don't have (meaning her) and that if she loves him she would want to please him. (and he says it in a way that you'd think he she is the one being unreasonable and that he is not being totally manipulative). Then her mom finds her there and is very shocked at her following the guy's orders and pleads with her to stop and come home but the girl starts acting devensive and runs off.

Another bit I remember is that one time she comes home late and he gets so mad and jelous that he cuts of her hair.
And the girl gets killed in the end. *sob*
I think her name might have been Deena or Diana or such, and she had a friend named April. PLEASE let me know if you know what movie I'm talking about! I really want to see it again!
