    3 car collision.what is the speed and direction after
    A 2100 kg truck is traveling east through an intersection at 2.0m/s when it is hit simultaneously from the side and the rear! One car is a 1200kg compact traveling north at 5.0m/s. The other is a 1500 kg mid size traveling east at 10m/s. The three vehicles become entangles and slide as one body. What are their speed and direction just after their collision?

    I got the final velocity equaling 4.19 m/s NE is this correct?
    I found the northward momentum --> 6000
    and that the final northward velocity is 1.25m/s

    Eastward momentum = 19200
    final eastward velocity = 4 m/s E
