My hair was a dyed black and I wanted to go blonde, I asked the hairdresser to strip it but she refused and said a full head of foils was healthier for my hair. She said after my first full head of foils my hair would be a caramel colour but it came out a bright orange. She said if I came back after 4-6 weeks and got another full head of foils it would be the desired colour. Now after 4 visits my hair is even worse with bright orange on the bottom and blonde all over the top! After going to another hairdresser who also refused to strip my hair I got another full head of foils and exactly the same result :( Has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone tell me why this is happening? I know other people who have gone from black to blonde with foils and haven't had this problem.
