    Optic Nerve Damage
    Tomorrow I am having Surgery.

It is called SARPE (Surgically Assisted Rapid Palate Expansion)

The incisions will be made in the gums, they are Lefort 1.

If the optic nerve becomes damaged some how, blindness is a risk.

    I was wondering...

I mean.. even though this is a risk, is it RARE?

Should I even be worried about it?

    Thanks.
