    Obituary Site
Is there a site to look for obituaries if you don't know the name of the paper that it was posted in?

I know at least one state lists obits (www.ohio.com/obit). Other states prob do also. Some funeral homes have web sites and if you know which one, maybe they could tell you (at least one in Morgantown, WV has a place where you can send condolences they will pass on to the family).

It's in Texas. Either Copperas Cove or Killeen. I want to find out what was written for my father's obituary. My step-witch wrote it and I'm sure it's absolutely incorrect.

Because I'm trying to avoid doing things I should be doing, I Googled "Texas obituaries" and didn't even have to scroll down to see many possibilities (including the 'ads' on the right side).

Good luck (and hope she did him justice... and my condolences - I know how it feels to lose your dad).

I doubt she did... she's a horrible person, I haven't heard from her or seen my inheritance since he passed... stupid hag.

Out of dozens (?) of Google responses you can't find it? Or do you suspect she didn't even have an announcement?

Nope. I couldn't find it, but I did learn that there is a funeral home in TX named after my last name :P

She did write one, I've read it before, and it was incorrect, so I want to find it again, and write a retraction.

Well, I don't want to post my father's personal info online, but I can send a private message if you are willing to help!

Chi - spent a few min before logging on searching. Best I counld do was:

Texas Obituaries and Obituary Resources & Databases | Obituary Links Page
At btm: Miscellaneous Texas Obituaries Search Engine <http://www.obitcentral.com/obitsearc...-statewide.htm

Sez obit Apr 2001, Bell, tx; but when click on it get new window with no info but 'free trial' - pay first then opt out. I'll leave it up to you...
