    Silver mint eagles
How much are minted silver eagle dollars worth today (approx).

Also, do you think the price will dramatically increase in the future?

    Varies on year and condition.
Not in the near future, but it's anyone's guess. I sold a bunch at auction on ebay after Brexit thinking silver would go up a lot but it didn't. (They were BU)

"Drastically"? No. In 1994 Silver was $5 oz. Today it is $15 or so. If you have lots of it, you made money. However, your 401k is up far more. Gold, Silver and other metals are for keepsakes or pure speculation, not as an investment unless you hold lots of it and are willing to take the down times too.

I think I held on to it too long. Don't have that much but I know if I
Sell them (minted silver eagle dollars) I will have to pay taxes on them which
    Would bring down the price.

All silver eagles are 'minted.' That is not a term for condition. Look at all the ones for sale on ebay.
I don't pay taxes on mine. I don't make enough profit.

Around six or seven years ago, I sold silver for more than double what I had paid for it just two years earlier, around 17 each to 38 each. Recently I got about 21-24 each.

What I meant by minted is they have no fingerprints... they are
Untouched I don't know how to use eBay but I understand you have to post
Your social security number online and that makes me uncomfortable.

Then you have to sell to a dealer and get a lot less money, about half what you would get selling them yourself.

There are mint sets and proof sets. Both would be in plastic cases. Mint coins are uncirculated while proof are highly polished and mirror finished.
