    And where are you wanting to travel.
    Each country you wish to enter have their own rules for letting you have a visa to enter their nation.

    You are still not giving us your whole story. If you want a qualified answer, that has to be done. Now we know what kind of fines, unpaid police fines covers a very broad base. Not harping, but if they are serious fines, then no, you won't be able to travel.

    Basically I asked this question when my boyfriend was sat next to me and he didn't want me giving all the information. The unpaid police fines were for speeding and having no insurance on his motorbike!

    There is nothing wrong with you posting here. We don't know you or him from anything. What country are your from ? It does make a difference, and it does really make a difference if the fines have piled up without being paid.

    I know. I tried telling him just that but he really didn't want me to say anything. So can you travel abroad with those fines or is it better for him to hand himself in asap and pay the fines as the reason he hasn't handed himself in and paid them yet is because he was saving up money to pay them!!
