    How long do they have to indict you?

    Hello w:

    There are TWO way charges are filed... One is an "information", and the other is a grand jury indictment... In either case, the state has 72 hours to bring charges or the accused must be released.

    The question is also two part, they can indict you anytime up to the end of the SOL of that specific crime.
