My Moen soap dispenser doesn't pump soap. Is there a seal inside?
I just moved into this house, so I don't know if it was taken apart previously.

Just lift the soap dispenser straight up, fill the bottle below with liquid soap.

Remove the plastic tub that extends down into the bottle. It should just pull off. Blow through it or otherwise make sure that it is clear. If that does not fix the problem soak the dispenser in warm water to hopefully soften any dried soap. Most likely reason for it not to work is something blocking either the tube or spout.

Most likely, there is dried soap inside the dispenser tube. Do as Harold said and it should work...

That's not the problem. The problem is in the pump mechanism itself

Hey! We're not talking big bucks here. Why not simply replace it with another. Good luck, Tom

I called Moen customer service about the problem. They asked for the model number, my name, address and phone. That's it and no other question. They then said they would mail out the pump replacement part to me. No charge. Very good service of Moen!

Great... Congratulations ! Once you take it out, let's see if you can pin-point the cause of malfunction. Milo
