    RVHost.exe error message windows xp
    I'm getting the following error message:

    Windows cannot find RVHost.exe,make sure you typed the name correctly...

    Most likely it is a virus! Could you please advise on how to remove it?

    This is a is a floppy disk and network worm for the Windows platform "W32/SillyFDC-G" and installs itself in the registry. Other worms associated with Worm.Win32.AutoIt.c, Win32/Hakaglan.B.

    When run W32/SillyFDC-G copies itself to the following locations:

    <Windows>\RVHOST.EXE
    <System>\RVHOST.EXE
    <Windows>\Resources\Themes\Luna\Shell\Homestead\<o riginal worm filename>

    To remove the worm follow this instruction >>

    For future protection download AVG

    Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

    Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot Spybot search and destroy spyware and popups and superantispyware SUPERAntiSpyware Home Edition (free version) to get rid of the nasties

    Sir, I 've removed and deleted the RVHOST.EXE using AVG, but still getting the error message...

    Windows cannot find RVHost.exe,make sure you typed the name correctly...

    Please, give me some advice... :)

    I found a tutorial that will show you how to make sure your are 100% clean AND clean out your registry so that terrible message will go away!

    I've try that all, but still getting the error message always after each booting of windows...
    I use Windows XP SP.2...
    I'm so confuse now... hohoho
