What I do for aggravation -
Alty also has a puppy. Today I set up the sprinkler on the back flowerbeds and went out to weed the front yard. Turned the central air off, opened the windows.

You guess it! He grabbed the sprinkler and moved it. I came into the house to a flooded kitchen, family room, bathroom and bedroom - and he looks like a drowned rat. A happy rat, but drowned just the same.

    Who knew Rotts liked water!

Without dogs I'd have to seek out aggravation - on the other hand, AMHD can occasionally be a good place.

Rotts also like to dig. Hope you don't have any moles in your yard or you'll get the same present I did!

I couldn't believe this. Yes, he showed up with one on the deck yesterday, also a mouse.

My JRT has always killed mice. She takes one big chomp and stands back for me to see, I guess as terriers are supposed to (and if I'm not there then she barks until I am).

Now I have a cat as well. She finds the mouse, tortures it for a while, and THEN the dog moves in for the coup de grace. She has even kept live mice tucked under her with her paws curled in and when I picked her up the mice ran away. Now I have learned the 'look' both dog and cat get when they have a mouse.
