Handmade Gun
I have a six shot revolver, a .455, that was handmade for a police officer, by an acquaintance during WWI. It has solid ivory hand grips, all of the interior parts are jewelled, and it has french inscriptions on the barrel and under the left grip. The inscriptions on the barrel are:Cercle De Tir De Bone, below this is: Auer Fondi. The u in Auer may also be an a or ii, and the I in Fondi may also be an e, a, or u. The inscriptions are a bit hard to read.
To the right of the second description are the numbers 6276. Under the left grip are the capital letters CAD, which are circled. The last inscription simply says ES, which is also under the left handle. I was hoping maybe someone knew more about the maker of the gun, or maybe how much it could be worth.
