    Try dividing each term by the previous term.

    Do you see the pattern? What is the sixth number?

    I have to admit, this is a bit of a tricky one!

    1
    2 = previous number * (previous number + 1) 1*(1+1)
    6 = previous number * (previous number + 1) 2*(2+1)
    42 = previous number * (previous number + 1) 6*(6+1)
    1806 = previous number * (previous number + 1) 42*(42+1)

    I was more referring to you doing someone else's homework for them. People don't learn if you just give them the answers. And sometimes they don't even learn when you give them full working and the answers. Hence the rationale for the answer I gave.

    Try this: for each letter replace it by the number representing its numeric place in the alphabet. For example 'f' is the 6th letter, 'p' is the 16th, and 'o' is the 15th, so the first entry 'fpo' corresponds to the sequence 6-16-15. You should see a pattern for the first numbers in each of your letter sequences, and also for the 2and 3rd.
