Man in a white suit in a dream I couldn't wake up from.
I had one of those dreams last night where I felt it was impossible to wake up from. I knew I was sleeping, yet I couldn't get myself to wake up, I was stuck. I have dreams like that at least once a month, but this time, there was something different about it. In almost all of my dreams like this, I am in my room, and I see everything in my room, but it's all foggy as if my eyes are actually partially awake.

In this dream, I saw my room, exactly as it is now, but there was a Man with blonde hair standing on the wall across from my bed (at the side) by my door and laundry basket.
He just stood there, and somehow I gpt a message from him, without him speaking to me, that he wanted to take me somewhere. I was scared to go, not of him, but of where he would be taking me. (I should aklso throw in that he had a fluffy white cat with him) He just stood there neither talking or moving waiting for me to take his hand and walk with him, but I didn't know where I was going so I didn't go.
I was scared because it was a dream that I couldn't wake up from, and those dreams always scare me whether they're bad dreams or just regular random dreams. The man was just a presence, and he didn't feel bad.

I should mention that earlier in the day, my mom did a cleansing for the house and for our neighbor, he neighbor was falling on some troubled times so my mom helped her draw away the negativity and bring in the peace.
Also, when I went to my grandfather's house after that, my grandfather's wife showed us (mainly me) pictures of her family, some long since gone. They were old cracked photos, some of them. Very antiquated.

I talked to my mom about it and she told me that she had the same thing happen to her before, and that I should go with the man, and that he was my spirit guide. What is your opinion? He didn't give me a name, He didn't feel like someone I had met before, but it felt like the cat was significant as well, and I even liked the cat. She told me that I was actually awake and that the man was actually here, and that he was trying to show me something. WHat do you think?

This could be what your mom says it is- some sort of spiritual presence. It doesn't seem like it was there to cause you any harm... There is a good possibility that this is a heavenly host. But it is possible that it was also an evil spirit. I've had dreams of satan before... He is tall, dark and handsome... very, very handsome. He wears darker clothes, and has curly hair. It sort of takes me back to the verses that say that satan was the most beautiful angel God created, and how satan tempts people with things that appear to be good and innocent, which actually have evil intent. I would be cautious what you do with this spirit. Next time he shows up (if he appears again.) Ask him who he is.

Sorry, I'm not a specialist in dreams... :(

It is weird all right. 'Draw the negativity away' you said? Can you tell how?

To answer Unky, she lit candles (one black and one white and said a prayer and she burned sage inside a circle of salt, which is supposedly a purifier for these things.

And for the rest of it, like I said, He didn't do anything, he didn't move, he didn't speak, he just waited.

I also asked my grandfather's wife, and she said that it's possible that he wan't trying to take me somewhere as much as trying to show me somewhere where I was supposed to go, or that I was going to be leaving my home soon.

She said that if I didn't want to go with him, then It's not bad if I don't, and If I did, he wouldn't hurt me.

So I don't know, it's really weird, in my dream, I told him to leave and I didn't want to go, and I was yelling at him to leave me alone, but he just stood there, still and wordlessly. I wanted to wake up, but I couldn't. Every time I felt myself waking up I'd fall into a deeper sleep and I'd have to struggle out of it, as it is with all of the dreams I get stuck in.

After I woke up, I turned on the light by my bed and left it that way until I was sure I wouldn't get sucked in to it again. Then I fell back asleep.

Well, that would have freaked me out all right. In your place, I would be very careful and the first thought would be that it is possible that the 'negativity' your mother 'chased' came there. :(

All I can say now is, be strong.

I find the cat interesting. You like cats I take it? I think all symbols in dreams are personal so I'd look into: what's going on in your life right now? Are you happy, contented or maybe a bit stressed out? Opinion :cats represent an independent spirit and a man in white possibly healing and balance.

I've found some stuff on dream interpretation on this website Dream Moods Dream Themes: Colors

I'm not sure how accurate all of this stuff is, but I think that some of it might make sense, because I'm stressed with school, I want to move out, and I'm scared of not knowing what's going to happen. But I wouldn't take it word for word.

    Here's what I found:

    White

White represents purity, perfection, peace, innocence, dignity, cleanliness, awareness, and new beginnings. You may be experiencing a reawakening or have a fresh outlook on life. However, in Eastern cultures, white is associated with death and mourning.

    Cat

To see a cat in your dream, symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. The cat could indicate that someone is being deceitful or treacherous toward you. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself. The dream may be a metaphor for "cattiness" or someone who is "catty" and malicious. If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a loss of independence and lack of autonomy.

To dream that a cat is biting you, symbolizes the devouring female. Perhaps you are taking and taking without giving. You may be expressing some fear or frustration especially when something is not going as planned.

To dream that you chase the cat away, signifies that you will overcome your obstacles.

To see a white cat in your dream, denotes that you are going through difficult times.

To see a black cat in your dream, indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck.

    Man

To see a man in your dream, denotes the masculine aspect of yourself - the side that is assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive. If the man is known to you, then the dream may reflect you feelings and concerns you have about him.

If you are a woman and dream that you are in the arms of a man, suggests that you are accepting and welcoming your stronger assertive personality . It may also highlight your desires to be in a relationship and your image of the ideal man.

To see an old man in your dream, represents wisdom or forgiveness. The old man may be a archetypal figure who is offering guidance to some daily problem.

    Bedroom

To dream that you are in the bedroom, signifies aspects of yourself that you keep private. It is also indicative of your sexual nature.

    Afraid

To dream that you are afraid, indicates that you are experiencing self-doubt and feelings of incompetence in your waking life. You may be feeling a lack of control. Anger often masquerades as fear, so also consider issues about which you are angry about in your waking life.
(I wasn't afraid of the man himself, just where he wanted me to go)

    Aggression

To dream that you exhibit aggression in your dream, denotes repressed sexual needs. It is also a reflection of conflict in your waking life.
(If I didn't mention before, and I don't think I did, I was throwing stuff at the guy and telling him to go away because i was scared of where he would be taking me)

    Throw

To dream that you are throwing something, indicates that there is someone or something that you need to rid yourself of from your life. Consider the object that you are throwing. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun that you are "throwing" or fixing a game or situation. Are you working against the objective?
(I don't remember what I was throwing, but i remember that it was random stuff that i could reach)

Hey interesting-it sort of makes sense doesn't it? Sometimes we'll have several dreams with the same kind of theme especially when its big changes times in our lives. Maybe you could 'ask' for another dream that would explain the first one?

I think Judy is talking about the last two posts that were deleted, that they were a troll, but when they got deleted, her post seems out of place

I don't really agree with the spirit guide thing. Just like our parents told us when we were kids "Never go anywhere with someone you don't know." All dreams symbolize something. What comes to mind when I read yours is that somebody from your past is looking for you, someone who was lost (maybe mentally, physically, emotionally, an old flame, a long lost friend). Since I don't know the vibe I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing though. If it's not okay or doesn't feel okay, simply don't go, it does seem like you have a choice.
