Looking for a wine we used to drink
Late 60's - we bought several bottles of a Delas Frers (excuse the phonetics), Cote de Rhone - a wonderful wine at the suggestion of a local wine expert. Later on, we were told that it was a mediocre wine. We didn't do it as an investment, but just because we liked it.

Question is: Do they still make this wine? Would you rplease ecommend a good Cote de Rhone?

I don't drink, so all wine tastes the same to me. However, I do cook with it. IF a cake recipe calls for sherry or brandy, which of the following would be the closest to it. Cabernet sauvegon, burgundy, chadonnay, marsala, maderia. I have all these but not sherry or brandy.
