    What general ledger accounts do I Debit & Credit when I book an entry for employee sales commissions?

    Dr. Employee's Commissions (or a similar account name)
    Cr. Accounts Payable


    Then when you actually pay them,

    Dr. Accounts Payable
    Cr. Cash
