    Earths Crust
Can anyone tell me the thickness, in miles, of the earths crust, and scale for scale, how thick would that leave the shell of a table tennis ball?
    Thank you.

The oceanic crust avarages to 5 km.
The continental crust avarages to 30-35 km, with a maximum of 100 km (Himalaya).
    Earth's radius is 6367 Km.
The thickness of the layer on a table-tennis ball would then be 0.03 mm avarage for the oceanic crust and 0.2 mm avarage for the continental crust.
