Hi My name is Jim ,
I recently bought a 2009 Chevrolet Impala LT1 that has the luxury interior. It also has the Bose 8 speaker sound system, or so the window sticker says.
My question is where are all the speakers located. I can only find 6. One each on the passenger and drivers door, on the left and right window pillars in the front, and 2 on the rear deck, a total of 6. I've asked the dealer about it. First they said on the dash, no, then he corrected himself and said underneath the dash, no again. I hope someone can clarify this for me.

You have the following speakers in the 90 Impala with a Bose system:

1" Tweeters in the front window pillars
6.5" speakers in the fron doors
6x9 speakers in the rear deck
AND 3.5" drivers also in the rear deck. They are in a integrated assembly with the 6x9's.
