    Dennis is buliding a scale model he needs to find how tall will his model be?
    Dennis is building a scale model of an office building. He has chosen to use a sclae of 1.0 in. = 15 ft. If the actual height of the bulding is 180ft, how tall will his model be?? :)

    for similar objects with dimensions (x,y) and (x',y'), x/x' = y/y'.

    Or, if you are not used to formulae, by reasoning,

    15 ft is represented by 1.0 in.
    1 ft is represented by __ in.
    So, 180 ft will be represented by __ in.
