    Resolution of forces acting on pistons in case of radial piston type hydraulic motor
    In hydraulic terms, formula for power (kW) of pump and motor of any type is
    kW = QP/600 (Efficiency ignored for simplicity)
    Where, Q = Oil flow rate (lit/min)
    P= Pressure (bar)
    In case of radial piston pump or motor of particular type in which pistons are contained in a rotating cylinder block or rotor, pistons reciprocate radially equal to twice of eccentricity between cylinder block and reactive ring. The hydraulic force under the pistons presses them outward radially against reactive ring. As reaction of this force, piston block rotates due to diverging space between rotor and reactive ring. It means that reciprocating radial force is diverted tangentially to produce torque/rotation. The questions are as follows.
    1. How the tangential force acting on the piston, rotor and reactive ring is calculated?
    2. Whether the whole or what component of hydraulic radial force of the piston is effective for torque/power of the motor?
    3. Regarding torque/power of motor, what is the contribution of value of radius at the point where pistons press against the reactive ring?
    4. How the changes in eccentricity affect these calculations apart from variation in
    flow rate?
