I live in Oregon. I moved out here to live with my boyfriend in 2010. I have never paid rent but did what I could to help with food, did all the 'housewife" stuff, plus everything else he ever wanted to do. We argued about money, but Im in school and paying all my bills. He cosigned for a car for me, which I make all the payments and insure. He also got me a motorcycle, that is in his name but I too have made all the payments. Over a stupid comment my son made, (my son moved in with us in Nov or 14) he is now saying I have 30 days to get out. He knows I cannot afford rent, due to the expense of my bills, including my vehicles. My motorcycle, he uses as leverage and means to control. He's already hidden the key from me, and I've already had an attorney tell me I can take it still. Just wanting to know what other rights I have. Stupidly, I believed we would be getting married and I allowed him to get me the vehicles tapping me out financially. We live in a house that he purchased. My name is on nothing here, but have equally lived in it for the past 3 years... this Oct makes 4yrs

You have the right to move out in 30 days. You have no other right to the house or to live there. You will be treated like any other renter at this point.

If you do not move, he would take you to court and evict you. (which would be on your record as an eviction making it harder to rent in future.

So, how old is your son? What comment was made? Perhaps you need to find a way to make up with boyfriend ( if you want to ) If not, you need to find a place to live, if son is older and working, perhaps he can help pay rent

Did you tell the attorney that the bike is not in your name? Regardless of payments made on it, to your bf or insurance (did you keep paper proof?), you are going to have a tough time getting any vehicle for which you don't have the title.
I suspect that moving your son in was a risky move, no matter what comments he made. He just adds to the feeling of burden and expense.
You have virtually no rights and are nothing more than a lodger or tenant. (Lodgers can be evicted faster than tenants, but I haven't looked at Oregon law. Not many states have a law for lodgers.)
Owning a home is expensive, and he has the risk that you will finish school, get a job, and dump him for your own place and some other guy.
You allowed yourself to act married without being married.
Sorry.

I would apologize deeply and without one shred of excuse for yourself and your son, and beg to be allowed to stay til the end of the school term. Finding apartments will be easier then anyway.

You have a right to move out, and not make payments on the motorcycle. If he can just kick you (and your son) to the curb so easily this time, then he can do it anytime. Drastic changes to cover your own self interests, is greatly advised at this point.

You have 30 days to get your affairs in proper order.

Since he owns the house, you are considered a resident. As such, he can have you evicted as long as he follows the legal process for Oregon. That means a 30 days written notice. If you don't vacate he has to take you to court for an eviction order.

The only possibility you might have is try a palimony action, but that is a long shot.

You should have gotten yourself more security in this situation.
