Hi, I am a 17 year old girl, and I just met this real nice guy. He gave me his number and we started talking, we are supposed to hangout tomorrow.. he is 24. Is that too old?

Well, yeah, it's a little bit too old for you, but it all depends on you, not only on your age difference. Hang out with him and see how things go.

Depends on both of your maturity.
And also ask him if he thinks it is a problem.

I agree with nicespringgirl. She makes two good points. Make sure he is okay with it, and that you are both mature enough. My parents are 8 years apart, I honestly don't think age matters if the two of you like one another. Just as long as he isn't in it for the sex, then you should go out and have fun with him. But too much of an age difference does pose a problem. For instance, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher... hahah. But they are stars, not realistic. Lol.

5 years is the age gap limit in my opinion until you turn 25 after that I think people are mature enough in both parties to make their own decsions. Plus (no offense) no matter how nice these older guys seem most of them only want one thing even if they don't let on right away... Be careful

It is probably not a good idea. A 24 year old guy okay with dating a 17 year old girl... he's after one thing kiddo and one thing only.

What do your parents day about this?
