My son is 2 and a half years old and has been complaining that his head hurts. His headaches are occasionally accompanied by fever but not always. He doesn't get better or worse upon going in or out doors so I don't think its allergies. The doctor said it could be Spotted fever from a tick. Who knows, he's taking diclocycline, similar to tetracycline, and the medicine is known to cause discoloration of children under 8 years old teeth. But if its fatal, I'd rather his baby teeth be discolored than it be fatal. If any one knows any other possibilities please let me know. Are two year old supposed to get headaches?

Have you taken him to the pediatrician for this? It may be allergies, as that is a common symptom of allergies and sinus congestion.

Please get him checked out.
