    Quick, easy recipes.
Hey, I was just wondering if someone could give me some quick and easy recipes that are also cheap as well. Also some bush cooking recipes would be good. Thanks.

Vegetable beef and noodles is a recipe in my family:

-1 can of campbells vegetable beef soup. (size depends on how many people will be eating.)
    -egg noodles.
-a scoop of butter (about 1 tbsp)

Boil the noodles, drain, and add the rest. It's cheap and easy.

Do you like pasta salad? This is one of my favorite recipes: greek pasta salad recipe at kraftfoods.com

I usually replace the olives with tomatoes though. Sometimes I add cilantro.

    What's bush cooking?

    Chili cornbread bake

    can of chili $1.00
    jiffy cornbread mix $.50

mix the cornbread according to direction
throw chili in 8x8 pan put cornbread mixture on top! Cook... Done!:D

You can spice up your can of chili with your own stuff and even throw a can of creamed corn in with the cornbread.

It's really good just like that or you can add some sour cream or cheddar cheese.

Should serve at least 4, unless you have teenage boys:eek:

Oh and instead of using the kraft pasta salad they tell you to use, I use regular pasta with italian dressing. Sorry.. the recipe is different in the kraft magazine.

Take two slices of bread, spread nutella on them and put some crunchy cornflakes on it and eat. Good for an evening snack.

Nutella and peanut butter on bread taste great together too.

One recipe I have always liked was:
1lb (or less) of ground beef, browned with some garlic and salt and pepper. You can add some peppers or canned tomato's too.
Elbow noodles boiled, add a can of tomato soup and combine all ingredients. I sometimes throw some shredded cheese over top and either bake in the oven or just mix the cheese in and it will melt from the heat of the food.
