    Hair test - Adderall concerns
About two and a half months ago I had my last dose of 5mg Adderall. Maybe 20 pills over three to four weeks. Am I screwed on a hair test?

About me: mid-thirties, female, 5ft7in, 120 pounds, super fast metabolism

It is classified as a class 2 regulated drug. Did you have a prescription and the need for such? Is this a parole or probation situation? If so, what were the conditions regarding same? "super metabolism" has no bearing on hair tests.

Then you have no defense for a failed test. Did you know you are in violation of federal drug laws-and so is the person who gave them to you. That time may clear you but realize that unsupervised self medication usually ends up with worse issues.

For the most part a hair drug test won't show adderall mainly due to how the screening and confirmation process works. Adderall won't show up in the screening process but if the hair sample is sent straight to confirmation (which skips the screening process) it could possibly show up. But the only reason I would send a hair sample "straight to confirmation" is if there wasn't enough hair to do both the screening and confirmation testing. So chances are you should be negative for amphetamine. Hope this makes sense. Your height, weight and metabolism have no bearing on a hair drug test.

I'm glad you passed Benem. Just remember, in the future, that taking medication not prescribed for you is a felony. Not only for you, but for the person who gave it to you.
