    Math word problem
    If a triathlon is broken into swimming biking and running races each race is the same distance. The total distance of the triathlon is 36.5 miles. How many miles are swimming and biking races combined?

    This is simple math, so simple that even I can do it. There are three races, all equal. The total distance is 36.5 miles. How would you figure out the distance of each race? There are 3, totaling 36.5 miles. 36.5 divided by..

    You want to know the total miles of two of the three races. So you figure out the length of each individual race and then what? How would you figure out the sum of two of the races?

    Think it through. It's really not hard.
